Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate marketing is your new best friend. It’s just what it sounds like, too. You, the affiliate, stand between companies and customers. You advertise, or market, your company’s products or services to a certain niché or group of people. In return, that company pays you either a flat rate or commission from selling their product. It’s a win-win-win. Who doesn’t like a situation like that?
A great aspect of affiliate marketing is that it often requires little or no investment at all. You can earn money without spending it. Companies don’t want to scare away affiliates, so they almost always allow you to sponsor them free, then toss in benefits if you’re willing to upgrade. I tend to think upgraded memberships are worthless anyway.
Wait – there’s more benefits to affiliate marketing! Most companies associate with multi-tier programs. This is great news for you! That means that when you sell someone a product or service, and they turn around and do the same, you still get commission from it! I’ve worked with companies that you are connected with 7 levels down! That there is what it’s all about. Which leads me to yet another, and probably the biggest, benefit.
Residual, passive, income! This is what’s so utterly appealing about affiliate marketing. Once you get rolling, you will have an automated source of income working for you. Try and target people who are driven and work with them in the beginning, and you will have many sources like this. It’s all about having a chain of people under you who not only are making sales, but annual or repeated purchases through you.
